Hello, I’m Amanda
I work as a therapeutic recreation specialist in an acquired brain injury program and as a yoga teacher.
I believe in a holistic approach to everything in life.
Aside from yoga and hiking, I love my cats, dogs, good food, and being outdoors. I have been working out for 30 years and I have only briefly known not being able to exercise - so each time I do (whether it is yoga, spinning, strength training or HIIT style run-walks or workouts), I am grateful that I am able.
I am passionate about bringing that feeling to everyone (the joy of movement and making it accessible to everyone) because I would want that done for me if I could not easily access it.
All of my yoga classes are offered in a way that accommodates all levels of experience and all types of ability.
What to Expect:
I approach everything with a holistic approach - my everyday life, the trainings I choose and the support and services I provide. I encourage a well-rounded approach and multi-faceted activities to support your successes and fulfillment. I will bring the many teachers I have had into my approach with you and will offer you variety and options.
What I Offer:
My certifications and experience range from therapeutic recreation diploma, various yoga certifications, 3rd level reiki, medicine wheels, death doula certification and various person-centred and brain injury trainings.
